AAWP Review – The Best Amazon Affiliate Plugin?

AAWP is a simple but very effective Amazon Affiliate plugin for WordPress. You can add comparison tables, product boxes, lists and so much more! What is AAWP?

AAWP is a WordPress plugin for importing Amazon products via the Amazon API in accordance with Amazon’s terms of service. This does not only import images, but full pricing, reviews, start ratings, Prime details, descriptions, bullet points – basically everything you need to promote and profit from Amazon Associates. One my my favourite plugins, AZON Tables is not being updated and is now not for sale so I will be switching my tables over to AAWP.

AAWP has 4 price points, the only difference is the number of sites you need to install the plugin.

I use this a lot on new sites just to get some offers on the pages before I can get down to adding substantial content. This has worked well for landing pages and a top 10 bestsellers list for me.

What are the features of AAWP?

The feature I use most often is placing a best seller list on a landing page, this dynamically imports data from Amazon for a chosen category or even a node and displays the best selling products. As far as I know, this is limited to 10 in a single table, you can choose from 2-10. If I was inserting in a blog post, I would limit to 3-5.

Another popular feature that I have used in my blogs is the best seller product box which displays a nice product box with the image, title, description if required, price and prime status with text or buy now button. This can all be modified to suit your design and each box can be customised individually.

Inserting the tables or boxes is very straightforward, just enter the shortcode and the keyword or asin/asins and the number of item for a table.
